Who Makes It Happen
Partners
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we introduce you to our Partners – those who make our work possible in the field, as well as those Partners close to home.
IOCC – Jerusalem / West Bank
In seeking to provide assistance to the poor, either in response to emergencies or long term socio-economic development needs, IOCC's fundamental policy is to develop a sustainable indigenous capacity to carry out such programs. All programs are guided by the two goals of program integrity and the highest standards of stewardship to donors.
Melia Art & Training Center – Jerusalem
The Melia Art & Training Center in Jerusalem provides training in traditional embroidery to women throughout the West Bank. Palestinian women from urban and rural areas are finding moral and financial support through training and working in traditional embroidery, which is an important part of their own culture.
Comfort the Children International – Kenya
CTC International’s mission is to help provide hope and a future for the less fortunate. They share in the lives of local communities through acts of love and labor. Their education programs, building projects, medical/healthcare assistance, outreach ministries, and AIDS awareness help create a better tomorrow.
Kibera Office of Human Rights – Kibera, Kenya
Dorothy and Dorrin are incredible forces for positive change behind the efforts of the Kibera Office of Human Rights, an arm of the Christ the King Catholic Church. Both are lawyers who spend the majority of their time doing pro-bono work, holding civic education classes and providing legal advice and referrals for people living in Kibera.
