Women Empowerment

Millions of women worldwide work tirelessly to assist and encourage those in their communities to build a better future for themselves and their families.  These women often do this at the cost of their own safety and encounter difficult cultural biases, but they are fearlessly paving new roads for women in their societies.   

Pangea supports women and organizations who are actively listening to their community members and who have the special ability to articulate their needs and transform them into positive, empowering and long lasting activities.  Some of these activities include:

  • Support groups and counseling for HIV+ women and children;
  • Health education training;
  • Vocational training;
  • Income-generating activities.

The Pangea Network feels that the issues facing a particular community are best understood by the women who live in the community and are a part of it, which is why our goal is to bring attention to these courageous women, share their stories and support their efforts.

Currently The Pangea Network has implemented Women Empowerment Programs in the Holy Land and Kenya.
